Caltrans Weekly Palisades Fire And Emergency Work Lane Closures

MALIBU—On Saturday, October 4, the city of Malibu posted on its Facebook page that Caltrans Weekly Palisades Fire & Emergency Work Lane Closures will take place on Pacific Coast Highway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard starting Monday, October 5 and run through Sunday, October 12.

PCH from Sunset Boulevard to Carbon Beach Terrace remains an active work zone:

-McClure Tunnel–Temescal: 45 mph, no restrictions
-Temescal–Sunset: 35 mph with cones/signage
-Sunset–Carbon Beach: single-lane closures, 25 mph, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. weekdays

Additional closures will take place at:

-Trancas–Guernsey & Corral Canyon Bridge: possible nighttime closures

-Big Rock Drive to Topanga Canyon Boulevard: lane/shoulder closures for SCE and fire-damage repairs

-Topanga Canyon Boulevard to Grand View Drive: one-way traffic/pilot car, overnight closures 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
