WEST HOLLYWOOD—A man has been arrested by deputies working for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for not only breaking into an apartment in West Hollywood, but also for murdering a dog that his former roommate owned. The name of this man is Anmol Bhatia. He is 27. On Sunday, September 21, Anmol Bhatia was spotted by officers in the Beverly Hills Police Department, and they realized that they had seen his appearance before in the physical description that the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department had given the officers. Then they took the man into custody. Afterwards, the Sheriff’s Deputies that were assigned to the West Hollywood Station took custody of Anmol Bhatia and took him to their station and booked him on suspicion of burglary, vandalism, and animal cruelty. Anmol Bhatia previously lived in an apartment in the 1200 block of Harper Avenue before his former roommate evicted him. On September 4, the resident informed the responding deputies that his dog had been killed and that several items had been stolen.
