MALIBU—On July 16, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station announced that it is accepting applications for the Deputy Explorer Program.

The Deputy Explorer Program is an amazing experience for those between 14 – 20 years old. Its purpose is to provide training and experiences that assist young adults in becoming more responsible, compassionate, independent, and self-confident, while serving as a volunteer in their communities. The program allows individuals to develop lifetime friendships with those at the academy and those within your station.

The program is great for college applications and resumes, even if an individual is not interested in a career in law enforcement. If interested contact the Malibu/Lost Hills Station Explorer Advisor at 818-878-5562
