Pico Boulevard Street Repaving And Safety Improvements

SANTA MONICA—The city of Santa Monica posted on its Facebook page on Sunday, October 26 that it is improving Pico Boulevard from 26th St. to Centinela Avenue as part of the East Pico Safety Project.

Work is slated to be performed from Monday, October 27 thru November 26. Motorists should expect lane closures and parking restrictions. Please follow posted signs and temporary traffic control.

Work Schedule:

-Prep Work: October 27 – November 10 (Mon–Wed, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.)
-Phase 1: November 10 – 12 (26th St. → Urban Ave.)
-Phase 2: November 13 (Urban Ave. → Centinela Ave.)
-Night work, 9 p.m.–5 a.m.
-Finishing Touches: Starting November 17 – new striping, signage & markings
