GRIFFITH PARK—The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting an event on Saturday, August 8, 2026, inviting guests to watch the 1993 film “The Sandlot” (rated PG) inside Dodger Stadium.

“Movie Night at Dodger Stadium,” as it’s being called, will give ticketed fans and families a unique opportunity to watch the movie on the DodgerVision videoboards, with festival-style seating on the outfield grass.

There will also be a variety of pre-show activities for participants to enjoy, such as special photo opportunities, pitching in the bullpens, behind-the-scenes tours, and specialty concessions. The screening also allows fans to access many parts of the stadium that are not available during a regular game day.

Doors open at 5 p.m. for pre-show activities, with the movie itself starting at 7 p.m. Baseball lovers and Sandlot fans alike will want to mark their calendars.

Tickets are available directly through the Dodgers Movie Night webpage at https://www.mlb.com/dodgers/tickets/events/movie-night. Kids ages 3 and under are free, while everyone ages 4 and up needs a ticket.

Ticket prices are $40 each and tend to sell out quickly, so fans hoping to snag a spot on the outfield grass should buy theirs sooner rather than later.
