WEST HOLLYWOOD—The city of West Hollywood revealed on Monday, October 13 that the Recreation Services Division will host a Floating Pumpkin Patch on Sunday, October 26, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the West Hollywood Park Aquatic and Recreation Center 5th floor, located at 8750 El Tovar Place, adjacent to the West Hollywood Library.

The event is a buoyant twist on the traditional pumpkin patch. This Floating Pumpkin Patch is a Halloween-themed recreational swim in the heated pool while surrounded by pumpkins as they’re floating in the water. There will be Halloween themed music and other activities planned for the whole family to enjoy.

There will be pumpkins of all sizes. There is a limit of one pumpkin per person. This event is free to the public, but space is limited and registration is required via the City’s ActiveNet site.

Swim attire is required for those who would like to participate in the in-water pool activities. Individuals who are not potty trained must wear swim diapers. Participants ages 10 and younger must always be within arm’s reach of a parent/guardian while in the water.

A ratio of no more than two children to one parent/guardian will be enforced in the water. Participants ages 11-15 must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian while in the facility.

For more details about West Hollywood’s Floating Pumpkin Patch contact the City’s Recreation Services Division at (323) 848-6530 or at wehoaquatics@weho.org.
