LOS ANGELES—David Anthony Burke is a pop and R&B singer who performs and records under the name D4vd. For the last few weeks, he has been the subject of an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department after the remains of a dead body were found in a Tesla vehicle that was abandoned in the Hollywood Hills, and which was also owned by the singer. Now he has been forced to cancel his planned tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. As part of his Withered 2025 World Tour, which started in August of 2025, D4vd planned to perform in cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin, Berlin, and Vienna. Still, all of the planned performance dates have been cancelled, and the same applies to his scheduled performances in Canadian cities such as Toronto. The body that was found in D4vd has been identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as being Celeste Rivas Hernandez, and how her body ended up in the singer’s Tesla is still under investigation.
