LAFD Battle Rubbish Fire In Sherman Oaks

The LAFD battled a rubbish fire in Sherman Oaks.

SHERMAN OAKS—The Los Angeles Fire Department announced on Tuesday, December 17 that it battled a rubbish fire in Sherman Oaks.

The incident was reported at 8:40 p.m. on the southbound 405 freeway. Firefighters used a water tender, they were able to quickly apply large amounts of water while driving alongside the fire while firefighters deployed handlines.

Two additional engines were requested to battle the fire. There are no structures threatened and no injuries reported.
