Structure Fire Battled On Kester Avenue

SHERMAN OAKS—On Tuesday, December 17, the Los Angeles Fie Department extinguished a structure fire in Sherman Oaks. The 9-1-1 call was first received at 10:32 p.m. By 11:14 p.m. officials reported the blaze was extinguished at 4721 N. Kester Avenue.

Firefighters extinguished multiple vehicles as well involved in the fire inside a carport (one was an hybrid). Two apartment units sustained broken windows and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was notified for damage to the electrical panels for the two exposed buildings.

There were no reports of injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
