STUDIO CITY—The Los Angeles Police Department had to rescue a hiker in Studio City on Sunday, September 20. The incident was reported at 4:02 p.m. where firefighters found an adult male on a trail with a medical emergency.
The exact location of the hiker was not disclosed by the LAFD. The patient was found, evaluated, and treated on the scene while awaiting a hoist into an LAFD Air Operations Helicopter for transport by air to a local hospital.
No firefighters were injured during the incident. The Los Angeles Police Department was requested, and their incident number was LAPD Incident# 2937.
