UCLA PD Investigating Campus Robbery Near Engineering VI

WESTWOOD—On Thursday, June 12, the UCLA Police Department reported they are investigating an on-campus robbery that transpired on the 400 Block of Westwood Plaza.

The incident was reported at about 12:12 a.m., while the victim was riding their bike near Engineering VI, the suspect knocked the victim’s hat off, then struck the victim in the face, causing the victim to briefly lose consciousness. When the victim awoke, they noticed their cell phone was stolen.

The suspect has been described as a Black male standing approximately 5 feet and 6 inches tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants, no further description.

The victim is a student at UCLA and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Anyone with details on the incident is asked to contact the UCLA PD at (310) 825-1491.
