LAFD Rescue Two People From Vehicle Crash

HOLLYWOOD HILLS—On Thursday, October 10, the Los Angeles Fire Department disclosed that two people were rescued. The incident was reported at 4:38 p.m. at 7665 W Fountain Avenue.

A two-vehicle collision caused one vehicle to careen into the corner of a building. A total of three patients, two (one in each vehicle) were trapped requiring extrication. The third patient sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries. The LA County Fire Dept was on scene conducting one of the auto extrications. The extent of the injuries to the trapped patients is not known at this time.

By 5 p.m. the LAFD reported that both auto extrication operations were complete with patients safely removed. Three patients are being transported: a 70-year-old female (condition unknown) being transported by LA County Fire, and a 30-year-old male in at least serious condition and another 70-year-old male (with his condition unknown).

No additional details about the incident have been disclosed to the public.

Fatal Traffic Collision On Pacific Coast Highway May 14

MALIBU—On May 19, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced that on May 14, deputies responded to the 28000 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu regarding a traffic collision with injuries.

The preliminary investigation indicates Party #1 was traveling southbound on Pacific Coast Highway in a gray 2008 Honda Civic nearing the intersection of West Winding Way when he possibly suffered from a medical emergency.

Multiple witnesses stated Party #1 abruptly veered into oncoming northbound traffic and struck Party #2 who was traveling northbound in a white 2012 Ford E-250 van. Witnesses and emergency medical personnel attempted to revive Party #1 but were not successful and was announced deceased on the scene. Party #2 was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Multiple People Injured During Traffic Collision

HOLLYWOOD HILLS—On Monday, April 29, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported multiple people were injured during a traffic collision. The incident was reported at 3:50 p.m. at 6078 W Santa Monica Blvd.

Firefighters arrived on scene to three-vehicle collisions that resulted in seven patients being injured. One of those victims was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The other six sustained only minor injuries.

Additional details about the cause of the collision and the condition of the victims have not been disclosed to the public.

Beverly Hills Gymnastic Center Damaged By Tesla

BEVERLY HILLS—A Tesla crashed into the Beverly Hills Gymnastic Center on West Olympic Boulevard on Friday, December 1, FOX 11 Los Angeles first reported.

In the video, it appears the Tesla lost control while attempting to turn the corner and collides into the building. No one inside the building was hurt during the crash that transpired shortly after the lunch hour.

No details have been disclosed whether the driver was under the influence during the time of the crash.

Car Crash Leaves 3 People Injured

WOODLAND HILLS—Three people were injured in a car crash on Wednesday, December 22, at around 8 a.m. in the 21400 block of West Ventura Boulevard. 

Among those injured was a 35 year-old woman, a 57 year-old man, and a 66 year-old woman. The elderly man and woman were seriously injured and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The crash resulted in a vehicle fire which was extinguished by Los Angeles Fire Department personnel. There is currently an investigation regarding what led up to the accident by officials.
