Sheriff Deputies Engaged in Ongoing Search for Suspect in Sexual Assault

WEST HOLLYWOOD—On August 13, a woman who resides in West Hollywood was sexually assaulted around 12:06 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Sweetzer. When deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrived, she claimed that the man who attacked her fled the scene. The sheriff’s department is engaged in a search for him.

The sheriff’s department has described the man they are looking for as being a man of Hispanic descent that possess a thin build and who is 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches in height and who is between 18 and 30 years old. In addition, according to the department his attire when he was last seen consisted of a dark long-sleeved sweater, with which he was wearing dark shorts with a light-colored stripe. Furthermore, he was wearing a dark driving cap.

Photos of the suspect have been released by the sheriff’s department.

This case is being invested by the Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau.
