Brush Fire Extinguished In Runyon Canyon

The LAFD battled a rubbish fire in Sherman Oaks.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS—The Los Angeles Fire Department reported a brush fire in Runyon Canyon on Wednesday, July 2.

The incident was reported by officials at 12:54 p.m. at 300 Runyon Canyon, where a 5′ x 5′ patch of grass was burning in the region.

Companies on scene extinguished the active fire and remained in the area to ensure all burned material is thoroughly cooled and contained. No details have been disclosed as to the cause of the brush fire.
