BEVERLY HILLS—The city of Beverly Hills announced on its Facebook page that traffic will be impacted on Wilshire Boulevard and Merv Griffin way as the next phase of construction starts of the One Beverly Hills Construction project.

The next phase of construction will involve the demolition of the Beverly Hilton Executive Meeting Center, Oasis Tower, and Courtyard, paving the way for new retail and dining spaces along Wilshire Boulevard.

Wilshire Boulevard will have lane reductions Monday, June 9 thru Friday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will also be lane reductions from June 7 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wilshire Blvd. and then again from Monday, June 9 thru Wednesday, June 11 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Temporary Hotel Drop-Off Zone: To maintain hotel access during construction, a portion of Wilshire Boulevard (east of Merv Griffin Way) will be re-striped, and barricades will create a temporary drop-off area. Travel lanes will not be reduced.

Merv Griffin Way will be fully closed for the duration of the project from June 2025-June 2028.

There will be a 10-day closure of one westbound lane on Wilshire Boulevard (from Whittier Drive to El Rodeo Elementary) for utility relocation. Dates: June 2–June 13, Monday–Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The city is working to ensure things run smooth during the renovation. Clear road signage will be posted.
