Malibu Safety Resource Fair

MALIBU—The city of Malibu will be hosting a Safety Resource Fair on Saturday, September 26. During National Preparedness Month is the time to get one’s family, home and neighborhood prepared for El Niño rain, flood mud/debris flows, and coastal erosion, as well as fires earthquakes and other disasters.

Attend Malibu’s free Safety Resource Fair Saturday, September 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Malibu City Hall Multi-Purpose Room.

Event Highlights include:
-Learn about El Niño preparedness.
-Fire Extinguisher Training: Learn proper fire extinguisher uses with a live-fire training led by Malibu CERT.
-Emergency Services & Products: Explore preparedness resources and vendors.
-Volunteer Opportunities: Discover local emergency volunteer options.
-Brush Clearance & Home Hardening: Get tips from Fire Safety Liaisons on protecting your home from wildfires.
-Raffle: Free raffle ticket for a chance to win prizes.
