HOLLYWOOD HILLS—A man informed authorities that he was robbed and assaulted at a Hollywood Hills West home on Thursday, September 10.

The incident transpired after the Los Angeles Police Department received a 911 call about a burglary on the 8500 block of Hegdes Way after midnight. The victim who may have been squatting inside the home, noted that five males beat him and robbed him.

KTLA 5 obtained video of the suspect who talked to news outlet noting “I’m the one that got attacked last night trying to save this house.”

The LAPD confirmed the victim does not live at the property. It is not known what was taken from the victim or the home. The suspects used a gun to threaten the victim and got away in black or gray Jeep with a safe. No descriptions of the suspects have been disclosed to the public.

Earlier in the week, a hot prowl incident was reported at the Hollywood Hills home of director Quentin Tarantino by the LAPD.
