Help Needed To Find Jorge Mejia

SHERMAN OAKS—The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate 59-year-old Jorge Mejia.

The LAPD reported on August 30, around 2:30 p.m., Mejia was last seen in the 4900 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Sherman Oaks. He is currently residing in an assisted living facility in the 13500 block of Sherman Way in Van Nuys.

Jorge Mejia is described as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He weighs approximately 145 pounds and stands 5 feet and 3 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt and black sandals. He suffers from dementia.

Anyone who has seen Jorge Mejia or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department, Missing Persons Unit, at (213) 996-1800. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7 (1-877-527-3247).
