Traffic Stop Leads To Seizure Of Illegal Marijuana

WESTWOOD—On Monday, December 30, the UCLA Police Department disclosed that a traffic stop led to the seizure of illegal marijuana.

Officers with the UCLA PD conducted a traffic stop on campus involving a non-affiliated driver. During the stop, officers observed a large fixed-blade knife in the vehicle’s center console.

A subsequent search revealed two large bags of marijuana, approximately 50 pre-rolled marijuana cigarettes, and several smaller individually packaged items totaling about 2.7 pounds.
