BEVERLY HILLS—On Thursday, December 18, the Beverly Hills Police Department disclosed that they in collaboration with the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD) are proud to launch a comprehensive education and enforcement program for e-vehicles, prioritizing the safety of our students, residents, and community.

In this joint effort, BHUSD will implement an E-Vehicle Permit Program, where students and parents will need to sign an agreement form acknowledging their understanding of the laws and rules of both the California Vehicle Code and BHUSD in order to park on campus.

Individuals should read the attached E-Vehicle Safety Rules and Laws, including the FAQ at the end, for important details about the program and how it impacts you.

The BHUSD Board of Education will be formalizing this initiative into Board Policy, further solidifying its commitment to safety and fostering community collaboration.
